Westin's T-MAX Outback Series EWI-9500 Winch was included in the testing and judges are quoted as saying "T- Max shined against, and in some cases, out-shined all other winches in the shootout."
The T-MAX Outback Series EWI-9500 rated very well in all 10 of the testing categories including Lowest rated noise level, weight to power ratio (54lbs), submersion test (worked great during and after), rated second in in speed and efficiency test with 28.7 feet per minute at no load and with the motor temperature at 138 degrees F, it beat out the Warn winch in the stall test - T-MAX functioned at 100% after test, while Warn had internal damage and would no longer work after the test.
